Steven Blaess

After graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Human Environments from the University of South Australia in 1994, he designed commercial offices interiors and furniture in Hong Kong and worked with some of Australia’s architecture, interior and graphic design companies. Steven has worked with companies in Europe such as Artemide, Edra, iGuzzini lighting, Fratelli Guzzini. His works of architecture, interior and industrial design are published in international design publications. Steven made final selection for his Torch Design Proposal for Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Meet the designer

LPWK

Born in Bergamo, Italy, Laura Polinoro graduated in Drama Art and Music Studies in Bologna. Her first job was in the field of contemporary dance. Later she undertook research at the Domus Academy in Milan. From 1990 to 1998 she was in charge of the Centro Studi Alessi, where she operated as meta-project designer and art director, coordinating workshops both in-house and in association with various universities and design institutes the world over. Items which entered production in that period are identified with the acronym CSA. Since 2004 products overseen by Ms. Polinoro have been identified with the letters LPWK.
